Michelle,

Are you trying to look at the picture you just took?

Please tell us what you are trying to do.

Michelle,

To get to your shooting functions, try hitting your Q button instead of your Menu button.

I don't have any explanation for your orange screen.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd strongly encourage you to download a copy of your Manual in an electronic format like html or pdf. That way, you can search for answers to specific questions. The Q button is explained on page 48 of your Manual.

Michelle,

You wrote, " but as soon as I try and go to menu to see the settings its just orange And black "

After you hit the little right hand arrow key in the bottom right-hand corner of your camera to playback your images, each time you hit the Disp button, it will call up different information about the image you just took, like the settings you used to take the picture.

Steve Thomas

It dont show no settings any more I cant even take pictures anymore . It just a black screen

Michelle,

I'm sorry to hear that.

I suppose you've tried a new battery, and made sure that your battery door is firmly shut. If that's the case, you may need a repair or replacement.
