How the focus screen should be positioning inside camera? There is a different side latches  - one rectangular on the other side trapezoidal, looking from up side down (left side is "Rebel T7" mark at the body) hot to put focus screen inside?

The focusing screen on Rebel series cameras IS NOT USER replaceable. It will have to go to Canon if you have an issue with your focusing screen.

Not sure, first things first  - to release the focus screen need to slightly push a top notch on positioning  thin steel frame then gently take off frame - focus screen is released. The main issue is to place a new one (simply to buy off in Amazon or others) - without touching screen (covered by special chemical treatment) - my problem is that the screen fall off and I do not take a look in which position should be placed

Canon USA says that the focusing IS NOT user replaceable. So it must be sent to Canon for replacement. There is no release for it either DO NOT attempt to remove it. It’s not designed to be user replaceable.

a new focus screena new focus screen

I understand that the Canon stated to replacement have to be at their service but to be honors - this kind of job do not need MBA in IT degree - at Canon service they make it no other way as it's possible - see attached pictures - the question is  - the blue arrow  - it should be on right side of camera  - looking up front ("Rebel T7" on right side of the body or as it is (red arrow right side)?

Forgot to mentioned - this camera is 4 years old after warrant period  - it make no sense to pay 50$ or more for so simple job

There’s no release that drops down the focusing screen. Therefore it cannot be changed out by the user. It’s installed in such a way that it cannot be removed like other cameras. Why does your focusing screen to be changed. Those rarely if ever need to be replaced.

Unfortunately during lens change in windy condition some particles get inside, the sensor was covered by mirror  - so was OK, mirror cleaned  - OK but some dust cover focus screen and caused scratches (blower do not a  job have to use microfiber - very gently but without success

There’s no way for you to replace it yourself. You could affect the camera’s metering system. Causing over or underexposed pictures. Cameras that have user changeable focusing screens. You have to tell the camera which focusing screen is installed.
