EOS Rebel T6 upgrade recommendations

I know this has been over so many times. So please don’t kill me in the comments. I’ve been seeing the R100s for dirt cheap (<$300), I know everyone hates them. I mainly only shoot landscape and have 6 EF mount lenses. Should I wait and see if I can get a killer Black Friday deal on a r100 and get the control ring adapter or just get the cheapo? I went out with a friend and used their RP last week and wasn’t aware of how inconveniently slow my camera was with 3 shot AEBs and autofocus. Been eyeballing dirt cheap SL2s as well.

Hi and welcome to the forum:

Much depends on two things:

A maximum $value budget - cheapo is not terribly informative.
Precisely what lenses you have.  Since your camera body is a T6, do you, in fact, have EF-S lenses rather than EF lenses?  Please list what they are.  You can get the details from the front of each lens:
Lens informationLens information
We need Lens type (EF or EF-S), focal range and aperture range for each please.

cheers, TREVOR

If you go mirrorless my recommendation would be neither the control ring adapter nor any cheapo versions. Get the Canon adapter.
