Help! All of a sudden, my EOS Rebel T6 is acting strangely and rejecting my primary SD card.
I've used this card in the past and had no issues, as recently as Sept. 1. But when I went to use it two days later, nothing happened when I turned it on with the SD card in. The access light will initially blink, and the lens attempts to focus, but the screen won't turn on, and the camera is otherwise unresponsive.
Simply removing the SD card doesn't solve the issue. I have to remove and reinsert the battery as well. Then, the camera will turn on fine without an SD card or with a different one in, and it works just fine.
Help!
Note: I know I could simply use the other SD card, but the only other one I have, my work computer won't read (a whole separate issue), and I'm not really in a position to buy another card.

mac-buff,
I don't see any other choice than to get another card. You can get a 32g Class 10 SDHC UHS-1 card at Walmart for $11.00. For your T6, that should be plenty.
