EOS Rebel T6 Flash not popping up

Hi I just got a canon rebel t6 and the flash is not popping up, anyone have an idea of what it could be ? Thank you so much

Hello brummitt3 has an external flash/ speedlite ever been attached to the hot shoe of the camera?
