EOS Rebel T100 Need some general guidance on lenses and lens caps

Hey all, I have an EOS Rebel T100. In the process of moving thrice in the last 3 years I managed to lose all my lense caps/dust covers. I need to know what I need to order to replace them. I am also looking into getting a new lense or two in the near future. My camera came with the 18-55 mm lense and I want to get one with a little better zoom, but nothing crazy. Does this camera run the EF or RF lenses? I’m new here so please excuse my ignorance. 🙂

This camera uses EF or EF-S lenses. RF Mount lenses are only compatible with Canon's EOS R series cameras. For longer zoom if you still have the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens. Look into the EF-S 55-250mm lens. If not look into the EF-S 18-135mm lens.

Look on the end of the lens, there is a marking with a circle with a line through it that says something like "58mm". That is the size of lens cap you need.

Then you can go to the Canon site and search for lens caps like this:

https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/lens-cap-e-58-ii?color=Black&type=New

Lens caps are cheap on eBay. Search by size. If you want ones that say "Canon" on them, search for "58mm Canon lens caps".
