EOS RP viewfinder level

Of course, I'm ready to blame the camera, .........but I can't get the viewfinder display level to show up.

In fact, I can't adjust the viewfinder display at all - what am I doing wrong?

Is this your first Canon camera?  Not all manu options appear in all shooting mode setting on the top dial.  The settings that do not apply to currently set shooting mode do not appear in that shooting mode.

Set the Camera to one of the Creative Shooting modes: P, Tv, Av, or M.  Use P mode, because that is the best mode to use to learn about using the camera.  Selecting Viewfinder display options will be in one of the Yellow Wrench menus.

Solution found - thanks to Ken Rockwell.

The level function disappears if face/eye focus recognition is turned on. Both can't be activated at the same time.
