Looking at buying the R8 wanting to see how the autofocus is while shooting in the high frame rate mode. The main question is does it have autofocus at all in the 120fps and 180fps and jd it does how has it preformed

Have you tried looking for reviews on YouTube? Jared Polin has several R8 videos.

I would also like to know if the camera makes use of DPAF in 120 and 150 and 180fps.

Your questioned is answered in less than 30 seconds. If you are considering buying this camera, or any camera for that matter, then it is a good idea familiarize yourself with the camera by downloading a copy of the owner’s manual. Learn what the camera can and cannot do, what it is capable and incapable of doing.

"yes, the R8 can do that", and you ALSO might want to look here, here, etc, so that you get a complete picture of what an R8 can do"

The video answered your question within less than 30 seconds. It also provided an in-depth demonstration of how the AF system works.
I also provided you with a link to the Advanced User Guide You can answer additional questions you may have by referencing the manual.
What more do you want me to do? I provided everything that you just told me that I should have provided. Good luck learning how to use a new camera.

Stephen I understand what you are saying - but my experience with Wadizzle, both in answering me as well as answering other folks, is it's a sort of "how can you ask such a stupid question" theme with him.
I would urge you to look back at some sampling of his "answers", and see if you get the feeling that he actually wants to help a user, or if he just wants to "scold" them for asking the question.
I understand that community members are taking time out of their own day to help, and yes that's commendable, but no one wants that "time spent" to result in pushing people AWAY from teh community.
Maybe I'm way off base here and I apologize if that's the case.
