Hi! My canon R6 has been missing focusing for a while now. In the middle of shooting a session the camera shut down and wouldn’t focus. Now only every say 4th shot is in focus. Shutter speed and aperture have no effect on the outcome. Something’s up with the camera. Suggestions? Thank you!

Greetings,
The best place to start is usually this.
-Reset the camera's main and custom settings to default, use a new or known good battery, fully charged, use a new freshly formatted (in camera) SD card. Are you using any 3rd party accessories? Lens, adapter, flash, grip, etc. If so remove.
Now test again. If the behavior continues, your camera should be sent to Canon of inspection.
