Hi,

I recently purchased a R6 Mark II before that I had canon 6d mark ii. I see images with R6 mark ii are very soft compared to dslr not sure why... do you have any recommended settings for wildlife photography?

I am using Canon 200 800 mm lens. I am attaching a sample image.

Greetings ,

I think the first question would be, are you using a tripod?  If so, make sure IS turned off

Next we need to know what your camera settings are.  Are you using animal eye tracking, focusing manually, etc?  What is the average distance to your subject?

What may really be helpful is if you could provide one or more raw samples. You will need to use a file sharing application for us to evaluate the photos.

Welcome to the forum.  Thanks for the images that include EXIF data.

Your posted images are inconclusive.  They have 400 x 266 resolution and file sizes well under 100k.  The forum has a maximum file size limit of 5 MB.  Probably because of overhead needs the maximum size I have uploaded has been around 4.5 MB.

You can post much higher resolution images when you reduce the bit depth.  Or, you can post a link to the original files on a public file sharing service like OneDrive or GoogleDrive.
