EOS R6 Mark II can you add external headphones, is there a work around.

I just bought the r62 it has not even arrived yet and am becoming more concerned that yet another Canon Camera does not offer an external headphone jack. I am hoping I can use USB-C port to add headphones. To be honest, the though of producing a camera costing over $2,000 with out a headphone jack seems absurd.

If this is the case can someone provide me with a legit work around to add headphones to the 6R 2? I am willing to invest in 3rd party options if necessary.

For photography I respect Canon Cameras I have always had great results in the past. I am a content creator and between my three channels I have nearly 1.5M followers. If I can not add external headphones this camera is useless for the purpose I bought it for.

Assuming, maybe dangerously, that you want to use the headphones to monitor audio while capturing video, then yes it has a socket to plug in headphones for that. Here’s the pages in the manual that shows that, and how to set the volume level.
