EOS R6 Mark II Firmware Update

Hello everyone, I just joined the canon community and have a question regarding the new firmware update for the EOS R6 Mark II.  I ordered my camera a month before it came out and was one of the first to get it.  Since then I have updated the firmware twice now.  The first update was to firmware 1.1.1. and now to the new firmware 1.1.2.   My question is, will all of the fixes from the 1.1.1. firmware update remain and the new firmware 1.1.2. will simply add the new ones..  My thinking is that yes all of the previous firmware fixes and tweaks will remain and the new firmware will simply add new fixes.  Your thoughts on this matter are appreciated.

Cheers,
Joe

The older firmware "fixes" will be retained when the latest firmware is applied.

Greetings,

Yes.  Updates are cumulative.  You can also skip versions and once a newer update is applied you keep everything that you had, and get whatever the current update has including any that you might have skipped in between.
