I'm using a Canon R50 to live stream my church service, but approximately 30 minutes in, the HDMI cuts out to the capture card. Usually when the HDMI is disconnected, the display would turn on, but it did not. It's not a power issue, the battery is full. It's not overheating, and there's a fan directly behind the camera, and the ports are open for airflow. Any thoughts?
I should note I disabled all power saving functions. If I disconnect and reconnect the capture card, it works, but it effectively does the same thing as disconnecting the HDMI cable. I have installed the latest firmware. Not sure if I missed anything.
Edit: fixed

newstream,
Does the 30 minute recording time limit still apply when you're using HDMI?
I'm not sure, just thought I'd ask.

Steve,
There is a time limit for recording (1 hour), but I'm not recording through the camera, so there should be no limit. I'm just using it to send the display (clean HDMI) to the computer; I'm not even really putting it under heavy load.
