Is it normal for the sensor to be moving freely when the camera is turned off? The moment i turn on the camera, the IBIS gets activated so the sensor doesn't float around but when I turn off the camera the sensor seems to be freely moving.

I purposely removed the word "rattling" from my original reply becaue I though, there is no way....
But apparently there is:

This guys lists it in the Camera Specs. So it appears that once the electromagnetic field is shut off, that which is no longer supended starts to rattle.

Greetings,
This is something you think or know. Can you clarify for us?
You have the lens off the body and are looking at it move, or you hear something and think this is what its doing?
See page 778 of your manual.

Might it actually be the shutter at shutdown or sensor cleaning?

Thank you for your reply to my post. To clarify:
1. I have the lens off the body
2. I have the shutter remain up when shutting down
3. When I move the camera, I can both hear and see the sensor move around.
What prompted me to post was when the camera was turned off, I can hear something rattling in the camera. In order to find out what the sound was I followed the above three steps.
