EOS R5 - Memory cards show full even after reformatting

Hello,  I have a R5 Mirrorless.  Have been recording to both cards. all of a sudden the cards were saying full.. Deleting the SD Micro after all shoots.  Deleted the CF Express card today . Reformatted both cards in camera and did a low level format to both cards.  With both cards out of the camera, it still shows full on dispaly..

Do not use SD micro cards with adapters, they are flaky in Canon cameras.

Should not affect the CF card, though.

even without the cards in camera,  I still get the full message

Try resetting the camera.

Can you post a photo of the LCD showing the full message with no cards in the camera?
