Hi Canon!
I’m wondering if you could please add a 4K60 “fine” mode in the next firmware upgrade for the canon EOS R5 mark II, and as I understand it is mainly a question of heat management, at least for the CF-R20EP fan grip owners,
even if it is tied to the use of the CF-R20EP fan grip, even if it is only available with fan set to high, and even if it is limited to 30 minutes recording?
I think a lot of people would be so happy as it seems to be THE major request/complaint made by everyone thinking about getting the R5 mark II for its hybrid capabilities, and THE major reason why a lot of people turn their choice to a lower priced R6 Mark III or R6V, or even to the competition (Sony, Nikon).
I don’t think that would cannibalize either sells of lower or higher end products in the line-up, because not everyone needs, want or can afford the R5 Mark II, and some others prefer the Cinema OS and features (timecode, no IBIS preferred for gimbal and drone work, XLR top handle/inputs, built-in active silent cooling, Shutter angle etc…) of the upper grade Cinema line like the C50 that has all of this at a lower price.
The only thing you are doing right now is have people go buy a Z8 or an A7RVI if they want the high resolution both in photo & video, or buy an R6V or the R6 mark III if they don’t care about those 45 megapixels for photography, thus only harming the R5 II sellings.
And it would be a fair and welcomed gesture for those willing to pay a 500$/€ premium for the Cf-R20EP fan grip to be able to use the full capabilities of the camera.
In case any Canon Rep is passing by and reading this, and hopefully passing the message to the firmware upgrade team…
Thank you!
(Ps: And don’t worry, 32 bit float audio, upgraded sensor/DR/readout speed, new Digic co-processor, dual CF slot, IBIS lock option, Sony/Panasonic like pixel-shift and other improvements will sure make the future R5 mark III a very attractive product! 😉

To make sure the right people at Canon see this, go the the Canon USA page and find the small (+)feedback button at the bottom of the page.

Well I was not sure if he was referring to a special page or the products page and @Stephen for your information this feedback button “literally” doesn’t appear on any webpage on the mobile version of your site at least on Safari for IOS, so one browsing with an iPhone like me couldn’t see it. Will do on a desktop.

If would be lovely if the Illuminaries (sic) had a direct line to Canon engineering--alas we don't--because if I did I'd be championing an ultrabasic camera like the R100 but with a full-frame sensor.
I actually think your suggestion on the feedback has a better chance than mine would if I expressed it there. Go for it.
