The magnify button on my R5 has stopped working. I have reset both "Basic Settings" and "Other Settings" to no avail. The rear screen will enlarge using finger commands. Any suggestions short of sending it in for service?

Greetings,
First, be sure you don't have the lock button engaged.
Next, try a business card. Gently insert a corner and rotate it around the 🔎 button. Be gentle.
You can also try a little compressed air and/or contact cleaner. Do not use anything that will leave a residue.
If this doesn't help register your camera in your MyCanon account and initiate a repair/inspection request.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately none worked. So it looks like it's off to service.

FYI, I reassigned the Magnify function to the Dial Function button as a work around.
