EOS R5 II Pre-Continous Shooting with a wireless remote

Has anyone made Pre-Continous shooting work with a wireless remote? (Conon or Trird Party)

The wireless bluetooth remotes do not include the "half-press" of the shutter, only a full-press. This is why there is no pre-capture when using the wireless remote.

Since the limit of bluetooth is about 5 meters / 15 feet, you can use an extension cable for the wired remote RS-80N3, Canon used to sell the 10m / 30ft extension cord for the remotes with N3 connectors - I know this since I have the extension cord and use it with a TC-80N3 sometimes.

Just about any remote shutter control simulates pressing the shutter.  If all you need to do take take a photo is press the shutter, then a remote shutter should work just fine.

I believe pre-Capture adds more caveats.  You probably need to be in a Continuous Drive shooting mode, Enable Whole Area Trracking, and probably something else, too.

Do you have a R5 II? The only way I have Made it work is with a wired remote.Canon RS-80N3 and I need  to make it work wirelessly.

There must be some difference between a wired remote and a wireless remote.  Pre-capture engages when you half press the shutter button.  Do both devices allow for a shutter half press?
