The firmware upgrade directions method 2 say to use EOS Utility, but it is not available in the software section for the R5. Where do I get it?

Greetings,
I suggest you do the upgrade manually. Copy the v1.9.0 .FIR file to the root of a freshly formatted SD card. If you have a CF card installed, remove it temporarily while the upgrade is performed.
Make sure your battery is fully charged. The camera needs to be In P or M mode. Once in the firmware update menu, use the rear dial to move the menu focus. Then press the set button to execute. Don't touch the camera or any buttons until the update completes. In case you tried to use the EOS Utility and failed, re format the card (in camera and start over). If you have more questions let us know.
