EOS R5 Eye detection and subject tracking not working in zone or spot

My R5 is set up with 3 BBF. One is full frame, other a small zone and other spot.  Eye detection and subject tracking works in full frame but not in zone or spot. Is that feature only available in full frame focus?

This thread is very interesting. I was in a camera store on Thursday looking at an R5. I was handed the camera and looked at the settings and noticed that "Eye Detection" was not on. after trying a few things that did not worked I handed the R5 back to the rep. Thank you for explaining what needed to be done.
