All HUGE files report as 0kb, playable on camera, not extractable on Lightroom or DPP under Windows 11

Did you copy the files off the memory card in the camera, and store them on your computer?

they report as zero, copy in an instant but as expected show up as dead/empty files that is the screen grab from looking at them on camera.

Looking at them on the camera? That is a potential problem.
It is still not clear whether or not you are copying the files to a computer before you attempt to open them. It really does not sound like it, I hate to say it.

Can you turn on extensions and go to detail view in File Explorer and show us what you see for the MP4 file in File Explorer (without doing properties)? Also, if you have a much smaller MP4 file, what does that look like in File Explorer? What program are you using to show the size of the file that you reported?

You will need to use video software to view or edit the MP4 files. DPP and Lightroom are mostly for still pictures.

Hey guys ill reiterate , the files shows up in windows as 0 byes, ye on the camera is fine, it will not import or copy over in windows, light room or DPP, all of those candle media files video or still, this one happens to be a very large 1hour 5 minute video file.
I am open to figuring out the R3's DRIVER issue or UZB port, windows 11 is a poor os and canon is kinda clunky on firmware updates .

For files that large, you want to use a memory card reader to copy the file off of the memory card to the computer. Is that what you are doing?
