EOS R Touch & Drag AF accidentally gets disabled

R_user_21

When shooting events I often inadvertently do something to Disable the Touch & Drag AF so that I can't move the focus point with my thumb.  I'll be in the middle of framing a subject and realize that the AF point won't move because the Touch & Drag AF somehow got turned off.  I don't know if I'm bumping something on the touchscreen when I walk with my cameras or what is going on, but it's frustrating to not have the AF point be where I want it to be when I'm ready to shoot.  I end up having to get into the menu real quick and switch it back to Enable from Disable (knowing that I didn't consciously Disable it).  Anyone else have this issue?

I do most of my shooting using a Custom Shooting Mode with automatic updates disabled.  In this way, if I accidentally or knowingly change a crucial setting, then it will be reset the next the metering timer expires.
