EOS M50 Getting error 50 but only when using flash?

I have an EOS M50 and out of nowhere i started getting the ERR 50 message, that an error prevented shooting. I would get it after about 2 minutes of the camera being on. I turned off the camera, swapped the batteries, and took out the memory card before reinserting. (I also cleared the basic+custom settings.) Now it is only giving me an error when i use flash photography. I have tried switching the lenses and gently cleaning them, but its not changing.

Greetings,

To start.  What brand and model of flash are you using with your camera?

I have no external flash, i believe it's just the internal flash that you pop up. Sorry if this is confusing, i don't know much about cameras.

Thanks for this information.  Error 50 usually means a hardware or electrical issue.  If you are using Canon batteries, and the issue continues with 1 or more lenses, it's probably time to start shopping for a new camera.  Canon no longer services the M series and you might have a hard time finding someone with the parts and experience to repair it.  Not very hopeful.  Let's see what others say as well.
