EOS Digital Rebel, DS6041 Driver for Windows 11?

I'm trying the download the photos off my EOS Digital Rebel onto my laptop with Windows 11. It's telling me the driver is unavailable. I was able to download photos just fine a few weeks ago so I'm not sure what changed? Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Hello,
Windows 11 may have dropped support for older EOS Digital Rebel drivers. Try using the EOS Utility 2.14 instead of newer versions, and ensure your USB connection is stable. Also, check that your PC allows apps from outside the Microsoft Store. Reinstalling the driver manually via Device Manager may help.

You should use an SD card reader. It avoids all problems associated with connecting devices.
