EOS 90D shuts down every 30 minutes

Hello, good afternoon

I'm setting up a podcast in Brazil and decided to use Canon.

I have 4 units of the 250D positioned on people's faces and 1 canon 90D positioned with table view.

The broadcast will be live, via BlackMagic Design (Television and OBS). All Canon's have the software updated.

The automatic shutdown of all Canon is disabled, however the Canon 90D continues to turn off on its own every 30 minutes.

That doesn't happen on the 250D.

Could you help me fix this on the 90D? She shouldn't hang up on her own.

fulviofarah,

That's odd, because from what I've read, the Canon 250D also has a recording limit of 29 minutes and 59 seconds..

Greetings fulviofarah,

The EOS 90D camera will have the sensor turn off after 29 minutes and 59 seconds when using the Live View shooting mode and when the camera is set to the video recording mode. This would also include when using the HDMI port to send a live signal from the camera to an external device. This occurs even if you have set the camera to not power off under the power saving feature. Pressing the shutter button halfway will turn the sensor turn back and you will be able to see through your display or external device again. Unfortunately, this function cannot be modified on the camera.
