Hey,
I'm trying to live stream some video using either my Canon Rebel T5 or my Canon 70D.
My problem is the video is showing up on my monitor and my live stream with a weird aspect ratio. It's not filling the monitor (which is set to 16:9 widescreen).
Any ideas on how to eliminate the black bars around the vide and get the video to fill the screen?
Thanks.

Monitors don't get set to a certain aspect ratio; they are what they are. At first glance, your picture looks like a 16:9 image on a 3:2 monitor, leaving black space on the top and bottom. Am I wrong, and/or is that not what you wanted?

Greetings,
Letterboxing" occurs when the output resolution does not match the aspect ratio or native display resolution of the monitor.
What video resolution are you using on the camera?
What is the model of your older Dell Monitor? (looks to be a 22 in)
What application are you using for streaming? Canon?
