EOS 6D Mark II transfer images to android using NFS

I have setup wireless connectivity on 6D and connected it to android smartphone successfully.

Now I am outside of home and wi-fi is disabled, when transferring photos using NFS, 6D always wants wi-fi connection to be enabled. I have no wi-fi connection on-site, so how is image transfer possible using NFS or Bluetooth?

The camera can create a local hotspot.

Yes, if I am within a network, 6D can be a hotspot.

If I am outside a network (in a park) how does the hotspot setup work?

The camera becomes the host.  It's an Ad-hoc Network.  You can be in the middle of an ocean or the desert.  You don't even need cellular service.  🙂  The camera broadcasts its own Wi-Fi network and your mobile device can connect to it.  You will not be using near field communication for this.

See the Wi-Fi instruction manual page 16 to get started. 🙂
