EOS 5D Mark IV Trouble displaying AF point selection on LCD screen

I just got a Canon 5D Mark IV, and while I've watched the tutorial video from Canon (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Tutorial-Tips and Techniques on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM4wGdZzvps)), I'm having trouble displaying the AF points selection/setting page on the LCD screen. I can see it in the viewfinder, but not on the LCD. Can anyone guide me through this?

I previously owned a T6i, so this one feels a bit intimidating!

What display do you have showing on the LCD normally, if it is blank then pressing the AF selection button will not show the AF points on the rear screen. Press the INFO button to change the LCD display to show the "quick control screen" where you can see shutter speed, aperture and ISO plus other settings. This is the display shown on the camera in the video. Then when you press the AF selection button the LCD will show the AF point selections as in the video.

Yes, I was operating from a blank screen. I will try this when I get to the camera and report on my experience.

Thanks!

I have tried the approach. It did not work. this is the screen that came up when I pressed 'info'.The AF selection buttonScreenScreen closed the window. I used the 'Q' button to get to the quick control page. Again, pressing the AF selection button closed it

Pressing INFO should cycle through several displays including one that looks like the Q screen. You may have to press the INFO button several times to get to the desired screen. The camera also allows the number of displays to be configured. On my 5D4 I usually only had the blank screen and the quick control screen as I didn’t use the level or the one you show in this picture.
