EOS 550D Stuck solid SD Card

I just got an EOS 550D from a friend but the SD card seems to be stuck. It is so tight it doesn’t budge at all and I’m wondering if it is even the SD card,

it seems so solid. There are no edges around it that a piece of paper would fit into let alone something to pry it out.  I looked at other posts that say it needs to be serviced professionally but I was hoping to avoid that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Be very careful doing that, not knowing the hardness of the plastic the bit could cut fast or slow.  If fast, stop it quick and you may be able to pull it out with the bit and drill.

Kind of damaged the inside a little but I think the contacts are fine so I am hoping it will still work. Turns out it was a dummy card in backwards. Only thing I might’ve done differently would be to have drilled a couple shallower holes and tried to pull it out with pliers instead.   Thanks for all the help from everyone.

Kind of a big drill bit for that, but you got it out.  Hope everything works well!

Drilling will get all kinds of crud in the camera and create a worse problem.

Definitely do not keep using it. These things are cheap. Have multiples.
