I have 2 X Tosiba flashair 16GB (eye-fi) SD cards (W-03) which have been formatted correctly and both work using wi-fi to my i-phone form my Canon EOS 1200D camera (and other devices) and to my P.C running Windows7.
The EOS1200D has built in software to enable an eye-fi card useage, BUT the camera is not recognising the wi-fi in the card and so these setting are not accessible in the camera menu.
I have contacted Conon and they advise this card is compatible and should allow all features to become available/usable.
How can i make the camera “aware” of the wi-fi element, everything else saves, plays and transfurs via USB to the cards as it should.

The Toshiba is not an Eye-fi card - similar concept but not Eye-fi.
To the best of my knowledge Canon cameras only recognize real Eye-fi cards.
You can use the Toshiba and have it send photos to an iPhone or iPad, but since the camera doesn't recognize it the camera might shut off before transfers are completed. You can increase the time before shutdown, but battery life will suffer since it will behave that way even if you aren't sending photos.
