I recently noticed an unusual and rather loud noise when I turn off my Canon EOS M50 Mark II. This noise is quite distinct and concerning, especially when compared to my friend's Canon EOS M50 Mark II, which doesn't produce such a loud sound when powered off. I would like to emphasize that I have taken excellent care of my camera and have never dropped it or exposed it to any physical harm.
This issue is particularly perplexing because it seems to be unique to my camera. I have always trusted Canon for its exceptional quality and performance, and this experience has raised questions about whether my camera might have an underlying issue that requires attention.

What lens do you have mounted on your camera?
What lens does your friend have mounted on their camera?
Does the camera still make loud noises if you were to remove the lens?

Can you borrow your friends lens to try on your camera and see if your lens is causing the noise? You could also try your lens on your friend's camera to see if the noise follows the lens.
