Canon t6i Rattle

I just received a brand new Canon Rebel t6i/750d. I set it up, threw on a lens, and took a few pictures. The pictures turned out fine, but I noticed a rattle coming from the camera. I took off the lens to make sure it wasn't the image stabilization, but the problem persisted. Does anyone else who owns a t6i have this problem? Should I be worried?
Thanks,
Kelly

It rattles when?

Scott

Canon 5d mk 4, Canon 6D, EF 70-200mm L f/2.8 IS mk2; EF 16-35 f/2.8 L mk. III; Sigma 35mm f/1.4 "Art" EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro; EF 85mm f/1.8; EF 1.4x extender mk. 3; EF 24-105 f/4 L; EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS; 3x Phottix Mitros+ speedlites

Why do so many people say "FER-tographer"? Do they take "fertographs"?

It rattles when I tilt it back and forth.

Definitely not normal. Since it is brand new I think I'd return it for a different unit.

I don't hear any noise at all from my T6S, but I it has the electronic level, which would eliminate the need for the ball-bearing orientation sensor.

Ok thanks.

My 7D gives a small sound when I tilt it. It comes from the internal flash. When the flash is activated, no sound.

Thanks for the response! When I have the flash activated on my t6i, it still rattles. Any ideas?

How hard do you have to shake it?  The mirror is a moving part, but it should not be rattling around.  I would advise that you follow the previous suggestion, and send it back for an exchange where you purchased it.

You can also contact Canon U.S. Support for further guidance on what is best to do.

Does the T6i have any orientation-specific behaviors? For example, can it tell whether it's being held horizontally or vertically? Such functionality usually requires either a very strong and predictable electromagnetic field or some sort of moving part that can serve as a switch. It wouldn't surprise me awfully if such a switch is what the OP is hearing in this case. Yes, it could be a loose screw rattling around; we've seen that before (in no less a camera than the 7D). But there are other possibilities.
