Canon cameras optimal for video < $2,000 USD?

I have a gift card for about $450 to Best Buy that I’m hoping to put toward a Canon camera (body only). I’ve only used the Canon R6 and Canon 80D, so any other recommendations besides those two would be greatly appreciated!

Your question is vague.  There are a variety of shooting scenarios when it comes to shooting stills, and shooting video is no different.  What is your video shooting scenario?

Here are some examples.  You want to shoot “talking head” videos for YouTube.  You want to shoot home videos of your kids running around the backyard to share with family members.  You want to capture video “run and gun” style on the street.  You want to shoot video for a film class on cinematography.

There’s more!  What lenses do you own?  What video format are you looking to capture?  Full HD?  4K30?  4K60?  Like I said, your question is actually pretty vague.

“What is the best thing to eat for dinner that costs less than $20?”

Same difference.  If you need an answer right now.  Take a look at the 90D.
