Canon R6 Mii joystick sensitivity

Hello everyone,

I got my first Canon R6 Mii, loving it but I am noticing the sensitivity of the down arrow on the joystick is different the other three directions. Left and right directions are very responsive and clicky. Up directions is good and reliable but I am noticing that the down arrow is abit less sensitive and requires slightly more force than the other three directions. It is mostly notable when scrolling through the menu where every once in a while it takes two clicks to move down. This is the second camera though, the first one I got yesterday from the BestBuy the down arrow was alot worse and really not usable especially when I connect the camera to an external monitor of put it on a gimbal. This one feels almost normal but I am just getting anxious after how bad the first camera was.

I am wondering if others are experiencing the same issue? is this a knows thing in this model?

Thanks in advance

I do not have that issue, probably because I do not use the joystick to navigate the menu system.  I have always used the dial controls on DSLRs, and still do with the R6ii

I use it only when I want to move my focus point, like Waddizle I use the dials for my controls.

I tested it after I read your post and it reacts and moves smoothly in all directions.
