On my camera screen there is a PRE 5 on the top right corner. can someone help me identify what it means please?

I'm still looking through the documentation but I suspect it's pre-shot buffer.
Yes, expand the caution item under section 4. Pre 5 and Pre 3 are options

I think this is related to the speed of your memory card. Try swapping out for a better or different card and see if the icon goes away.
