Canon R6 CLOG issues! Audio but no visuals

Hello I am trying to shoot CLOG (very new to me as I am a photographer not a videographer) for my senior capstone project and I have watched countless videos but nothing helps; essentially when I record my footage in CLOG or CLOG3 it works flawlessly as it should the playback even works but when I take my SD card and put it in my card reader open DaVinci Resolve 18 I import the media but it pulls up my file as an mp4 but no visual only audio from the clip? How would I go about this and actually being able to see my footage to edit it?

First of all, the golden rule of log -- if you don't know what it's for, you don't need it.  Make your life simpler and turn it off.

But if you do need it -- are you by any chance using the free version of Resolve?  The free version doesn't handle 10-bit video, and it may be that when you're turning log on you're also going into 10-bit mode.
