Canon R6 C-Log3 Color Problem: Red Turns Pink in Raw Footage!

Hi everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance with a concerning issue I have encountered while using the Canon EOS R6 camera. Specifically, I have noticed a problem with C-Log3 video footage where the color red appears as pink, even in the raw, unedited footage straight from the camera.

I am reaching out to the Canon community to seek advice, insights, or potential solutions to address this issue. If you have encountered a similar problem or have any suggestions on how to resolve this color shift in C-Log3 footage, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Note: Issue is seen only while shooting video in CLOG3 mode.

Does this occur everywhere and under all shooting conditions.  Or just indoors?

For the moment lets explore white balance as vidgraphy suggests

I see "k".  What kelvin temp are you shooting at?

Could this be related to the lighting conditions?

Have you tried another memory card formatted in camera? 

Have you considered a full camera reset to see if the issue follows?

 Yes, It is occur everywhere and in all the shooting condition.

 Tried with different white balance still problem is there with only CLOG3.

 Kelvin value is 4800.

 I don't think it is related to lightning condition since CLOG mode has no issue.

Yes tried with four different memory card still the problem is seen.

 Yes reset the camera using the options in menu.
