Canon M50 II, Av mode doesn't work

Tv works fine, but when we turn the dial to Av mode it just stays in Tv mode.

Tried to update the firmware but it's on 1.0.4 and won't let us downgrade to 1.0.3

I'm guessing the issue is the mode selector switch. You will probably have to send it in to Canon for repair. You can get an estimate by going to their support site and submitting a description of the problem.
