Look to see if the mirror is stuck in the up position. Can you move it down?
Does pressing the shutter button do anything?
Is the shutter stuck open?
Is there film in the camera? Rewind it and take it out. Can you turn the take-up sprockets by hand?
If nothing makes it work, something is jammed or broken. Is there a camera shop nearby to go to for help or recommending a serviceperson.
If there are broken parts, you my be out of luck.
