Hi there, a month ago I got an EOS3 camera. I put a few rolls through it and it seemed fine (waiting on the rolls from the lab though). Yesterday I went to load some film for a shoot and started to see a row of dotted lines at the bottom next to the film icon. I pulled the film out and tried loading again, thinking I did it incorrectly, but the error was still there. When I take a photo the numbers advance but the lines remain. I just tried another test roll and shot it the whole way through and it rewound but the lines are still there. I have taken the battery out and replaced with a new one, cleaned things, etc and cannot figure out why those lines won't go away. Has anyone ever had this issue before? I have tried searching online but have yet to find any answers about this specific problem.
Thanks!

I've seen that before and it typically refers to the film being improperly loaded or it's having trouble registering the first frame. But since you reloaded and ran a roll through it... Who knows 🙂
Here is an older post, but I'm not sure it will help.

When you get the film developed you can ascertain if it really did advance or not.

Not sure why, but the thread's starter has deleted his user account from the community.
