hi

i tried to use sigma art 18-35 with canon R to shot slowmotion film 100fps but it doesn't work , i need high frame rate ,is there solution ??

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

The Sigma lens mentioned is an APS-C lens. The EOS R doesn't support high frame rate with APS-C lenses.

Greetings,

The 18~35 should not have an issue used with the EOS R as long as you are using a Canon Adapter or Control Ring.  The camera can shoot 1080P @120fps

Maybe the card you are using isn't fast enough? (Guess)

What "doesn't work"?

option (high frame rate ) it doesn't work , it's gray and it's asking to change to movie cropping , when i try to change it ,it's give message (not available with the attached lens )

Demetrius' answer should be marked as the solution.  He's correct about the Sigma 18~35 f1.8 "DC" which is APS-C and cannot be used except in crop mode.
