I am a proud owner of the Rebel T5i camera for just a couple of months now. I am curious as to when Canon will release the replacement of their 70D model, which has been around for several years by now. I've read the reviews on both Popular Photography & Shutterbug magazines along with C|Net Reviews - DSLR cameras. In time, I will step up from the Rebels to perhaps the upcoming D Series release/replacement of the 70D.

If you want a 70D buy it now. Don't wait for something that may never come. Look at all the fun and opportunities you could miss if you wait for something that never comes. You may not even like the "update"!
