I have Canon EOS 2000D and i set too camera mode, AF method in Live mode.

I set the canon lens in AF mode and i connect the hdmi cable.

I have disable the auto power off.

I have video output to to my blackmagic mini and the screen on camera is off.

But after 30 min i got a message in hdmi outpout to press camera key.

After doing that i have again video outpout.

It's like camera go to hybernate mode.

How could bypass this limit?

I use camera for liver streaming.

Why when i ll connect to TC will turn off the hdmi?
Are you sure for this?

Your camera is [NOT] capable of doing what you wish.  That's the bottom line.  Please refer to this link for "Clean HDMI" output.

My main question is about to how bypass the turn off limit of 30min.

And now i ask, if i could do this with the TC which press virtual thw shutter button.

I believe if i press a shutter button when i am connecting with hdmi, 2000d dose not turn off.

This virtual press can do it the TC.

Am i right?

i understand that.

I'm trying to find a way to bypass the limit of 30min turn off.

What I am asking is whether the above method will work.

Oh, my bad.  I thought you had tried it, and it didn't work.  I suggest that you just simply try it, and confirm it for yourself.

I dont read the manual before buy it.

And i dont imagine ever, when i choose from menu to disable auto turn off, that stay enabled with hide value of 30 min.

Although this is for security/health reason, it's too crazy to disable something and tha stay enabled.

Despite thes, i choose this model because is the No1 of sale in my country.

It has perfect image quality for me.

I dysapointing for the aspect ratio of hdmi out, that is not 16:9 but i find way to bypass.

I pay for extra power unit for battery replace.

All of that it cost ~500e.

I dont want to pay extra money for TC timer shooter (it cost in my country ~200e with cable adaptor) and not work for the reason i want.

Sorry for the many questions but i am very tired with this product.

All started from this video:

Camera HACK for Sony/Canon/Nikon 30 Min Video Record Limit! - YouTube

It's _always_ best to check out the the user manual before purchasing.  Canon's user manuals have been online for many many years.

If you want to record long sessions, it's definitely best to use dedicated video equipment and not rely upon DSLRs which as you've found, often have many video limitations.

Finally i found the solution!!!!!!!!!!

I got a remote shutter and i block the manual shutter button in the half.

I set the shutter/AE lock button from menu to: AE/AF, no AE lock.

The remote shutter did not need, in this way, batteries.

The display view in the button the expose settings, that i crop it in finnaly output to output 16:9.

In this way i bypass the 30' limit to hdmi ouptut.

ps The remote shutter its not the canon official.

I bought it ~30e.

The 30 minute time limit is baked into the camera'S firmware.  There is no bypassing it.  Period.  One of the reasons it is there is to prevent the camera from overheating.  I am sure you have seen the warnings in the camera's Instruction Manual.
