Canon 80D: display won't (anymore) show settings when half press shutter button

Hi,

recently I updated my Canon 80D fw from 1.02 to 1.03.

Once, when I half-pressed shutter button, the display used to light up showing camera settings as if I pressed the "Q" quick menu  button. Now it doesn't anymore and I have to press the "Q" button.

Is there a way to get the old behaviour back.
