Has anybody use the multiple exposure in the canon 7d for sports?

This is what i want do do.  I tried to do the multiple pictures for a pitcher and all the photos were on top of each other.  How do you do it so that you have the pitcher 4 different stages of delivery and spread out.”

I think you will get the best results shooting from a tripod, so that all of the images align.  I would not attempt to create the final image in the camera.  I would capture separate images, and later combine them on a computer after you have downloaded them.

This will give you better control to make fine or coarse adjustments, however you like.  I have never tried to do it “in-camera” before because most bodies will not save the original images, just the final composite JPG.

There are many apps that could allow you to stack each image on a separate layer.  It would work just like an old fashioned overhead projector.
