My beloved 70D has decided to stop working on me.
Battery is fully charged but won't turn on. The only sign of life is the little memory card light blinking for a couple seconds when I put a card in. Have tried the common fixes (SD card in and out/ poking the switches in the memory card door and battery door as well as taking the lenses on and off).
Would love to hear if anyone has experienced this before!

We've heard similar complaints more than a few times. The causes can be hard to diagnose, but one that keeps coming up is that prolonged use of live view (as, for example, in shooting video) can sometimes cause the camera to overheat, frying a component on the main circuit board. After eliminating the easy possibilities, such as a non-functioning switch on the battery door, you may have to send the camera to Canon for diagnosis.
