Hi, so my friend tried to put the cf card in me camera sideways and ended bending a pin. the rest of the pins are there but one pin where it went into the camera. now my camera wont turn on. can you help me please

You’d have to be very careful if attempting to repair yourself as rebranding the bent pins will risk breaking them. May need to look at a camera repair place.

Unless the bent pin is shorting to another pin the 5D2 should turn on whether it has a CF card in it or not. Try turning it on with out the CF card installed If it doesn't come on, it is not the fault of the bent pin. The camera needs service and Canon doesn't service the 5D2 anymore but private shops do.
