Can´t download pictures

I've been downloading pictures from my Canon cameras for years, but suddenly I find that my computer doesn't seem to recognize the camera, a 70D. WiFi is disabled. Sometimes I see the word ¨busy,¨ but this is not always the case. Can anyone help, please?

Try a card reader.  Remove the card from the camera.  If it still doesn't work, the card may be faulty.

Thanks, I tried the card in a slot in my comuter, but that didn´t help. All the pictures look fine in the camera viewer. Do you perhaps have some additional thoughts on possible solutions?

Yes, you can try one of the several recovery programs out there.  Some are free.
