Do the 5D MKII and the MKII use the same CF cards? I recently purchased a MKIII and wanted to know if I could use the same cards i use in my MKII

Yes, I believe the 5D3 is able to use the all same type of CF card as the 5D2. This does not mean that you can swap the same cards back and forth between the two camera bodies. You should not.

All you are being told is, simply:
1. Both cameras use the same type of CF card. So you can take a CF card and use it in either camera, but it may be best to format the card in the camera.
2. Taking a card with images on it and moving it to the other camera to add more images may not be advisable.
