Any word on PixelShift on EOS R5? Maybe future firmware updates?

Hi there,

First. Time poster, being shooting canon for about 10 years now.

I was wondering if any canon forum rep or expert with some inside scoop can give any details or speculation as to whether further firmware/software updates on the new EOS R5 will support pixel shift like their competitors?

Thanks for your time and responses.

Keep an eye on CanonRumors. The site is generally quite reliable regarding such news.

Greetings,

While the forum is moderated, you will not likely receive any speculation or "inside scoop" from Canon here.

Whether or not this "feature" could be implemented through IBIS or with firmware is anyone's guess.

Thanks for the tip. I'm really hoping they implement it to compete with their rival's PixelShift tech.
